hungary and korea?

Who would have ever thought of a Hungarian dance group dancing to k-pop (Korea music)? I sure wouldn't have, but it's true.

In the video above, you can see a dance group looking sharp with leather jackets and simple jeans. Yet, their inspiration wasn't simply from trend, but from Taeyang, a famous Korean singer. Moreover, their dance is choreographed to fit into a song mixed with various contemporary Korean songs. I never thought of Hungarian dancers dancing to Korean beats, but I guess Youtube and other internet sources have done their job in connecting the world together. Although the mix juxtaposes several Korean songs, the Hungarian dancers bring in a unique trait to their dances.

Oooh! I thought it was really interesting too. The power of the internet is really infinite as shown in this video. Hungary? I never heard a single note of a Hungarian music. I should go search about it on youtube right now. : )

Hi Yura,

I saw this video the other day. I find it interesting how K-Pop is spreading to other countries. Typically, it's been isolated in East Asia (China, Japan, Taiwan, Korea) but it's nice to see its influence in other areas of the world too.

I sometimes hear about Middle Eastern countries watching Korean dramas. It's a cool movement as I'm a huge fan myself.

whenever I think about the hungarian dance, I see large ladies in big, flowing skirts skipping around.
I thought wrong!
Cool vid
I might try to stomach a leather jacket myself.

@Lauren: Internet is amazing, but I have no idea how Hungarian music sounds like either.
@Jessica: The best part of it is that Taeyang's song is included :)
@Yongmin: It'd be interesting to see you in a leather jacket... wouldn't it?
